Always properly measure cooking oil. Pouring straight from a bottle does not give you an accurate idea of how much fat you are using, which can result in overindulgence. Doing this will make you aware of exactly how much cooking oil you’re using.

Don’t cook with wines that you don’t enjoy drinking. Using a wine that you dislike could ruin the taste of the food. Look for wines that are specifically used for cooking.

After you eat turkey, do not just toss the leftovers in the garbage. Freeze cut turkey in a tightly sealed container. The turkey will remain fresh for several weeks so you can make delicious sandwiches or a turkey salad.
